Becoming a member – Gate Entry Assessment
Before becoming a member, a Gate Entry Assessment will be required to ascertain your current standard of driving. The purpose is to;
- Provide an objective comprehensive appraisal of your current driving standards by one of our highly qualified approved advanced driving instructors.
- Prepare you for entry to the Safety Performance Driving Club to ensure that your current standards are consistent with those of current entry level Members.
- Provide you with an insight to the driving standards and driving philosophy of the Safety Performance Driving Club.
- Provide a comprehensive written report and analysis of your current standard of driving, along with recommendations for further development and training.
ASSESSMENT FORMAT
The course will last for a full day. The morning will comprise of an driving assessment and discussion whilst the afternoon will be focused on coaching and development.
A preparatory half day introductory course with one of our DVSA registered Advanced instructors is highly recommended to prepare you for the full day assessment, as your entry to the Club will be dependent on meeting the required entry level standard.
